The Author

Rachel Anne Hemsley, Author

Rachel Anne Hemsley has been writing books, poetry and screen-plays since she was nine years old.

She has been published in her high school’s poetry magazine, and has many feature-length and short screenplays that she is in the process of finding producers for.

Her life-long appetite for adventure and fantasy inspires most of her writings, including Emma of Winds and her most upcoming novels. When she is not writing her next book or script, she is acting or script supervising for films, while attending Chapman Univeristy’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.

She hopes to continue talking to teenagers and kids about reading and writing, and to encourage them that they can do whatever they set their minds to, no matter their age.

She lives in Southern California with her parents and younger brother, whom she appreciates everyday for their support and prayers.
